I’m going to side with Ed Simons over Mr. Sunshine on this one. What are your thoughts? Is ‘EDM’ ruining the underground house scene, or music scene in general? Is it the commodification/plasticization of something beautiful, or do you think “EDM” is a positive direction for our scene? I think you can tell what I believe from my questions……

… TONY SOUL is the first of 3 new tracks that should be out on my SoundCloud page before the end of the month (March 2013). The other two are more along the lines of jacked-up deep/90′s house. Also, for the record I’d like to say that I have never touched a synch button in my life because I’ve never worked with anything that had it. The point is that the ARTof the DJ is much more than just beat-matching. You could teach a monkey to beat-match. Hell, primate researchers at the MTV Institute for EDM Studies already have.
